Our Shepherd's Hut
Bracadale Views Shepherd's Hut is surrounded by stunning sea & mountain views. Enjoy breathtaking 360 views of 2 world renowned mountain ranges: The Cuillins & MacLeod's Tables & achingly beautiful Loch Bracadale. Restore yourself with epic sunrises and sets; if you're lucky, the Northern Lights! Explore our 13 acres of Skye: Golden & Sea Eagles fly overhead or rise early to glimpse our otter! Perfectly located for the Fairy Pools, Neist Point, the Fairy Glen, Talisker Distillery or Dunvegan Castle! Special.
This cosy bijoux Shepherd's Hut, with a charming sheep themed decor, is 20 feet long by 8 feet wide. Compact but perfectly formed, it offers a comfy pocket-sprung divan double bed, with soft white bedding, a sofa to sit and chill, plus a small table and two chairs for eating or to work at! There's also a tiny kitchenette with microwave, wee mini fridge, kettle, toaster and small sink. In between meals or working then the table and chairs can be folded up and the chairs hung away on their wall hooks. Proper Shepherd's Hut style!
There is a relaxing ensuite shower room with plenty of towels provided. It comprises a normal mains-plumbed toilet, a little sink and a revitalising electric shower with plenty of mains hot water. Local luxury handsoap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion treats are selected to pamper you! A hair dryer is provided and a heated towel rail for drying your towels.
Outside there is a picnic table and bench on a stone covered patio to sit and enjoy the stunning views of the Atlantic and Loch Bracadale as well as two mountain ranges- 'The Cuillins' and 'MacLeod's Tables'. You can just make out the very edge of 'The Old Man of Storr' too!
The Shepherd's Hut is reached by a convenient stone path through the field from your parking spot on our drive. This means you don't have to get muddy (unless you want to!) There are sheep in the adjoining field and you are most welcome to explore our 13 acres of Skye with panoramic sea and mountain views as well as a plethora of amazing wildlife including Golden Eagles, Sea Eagles and otters!
We look forward to welcoming you to Bracadale Views Skye Shepherd's Hut on the majestic Isle of Skye!
